So you're curious about the wonderous world I made by hand, made for my people, and made as a base for a war that never happened...Welcome to your Travel Guide. We've renovated.

The Planet of Opulence was originally born from the remnants of another planet all together, Emulass. I originally crafted as my personal world, as Alkurth Thorveil, a mighty Nature and

Constellation based wizard, it was my last project attempting to attone for my own sins, and for the destruction that had befallen Emulass in the past. When magic was wiped from Emulass,

cities had collapsed, races fell from the skies, entire portions of the land crumbled. It was devastation unlike many had ever known. From it's ashes came a place of pure lushness.

Flora, Fauna and Magic overflowing. Enough resources that it could be named for it's regal nature and appearance, the planet I called Opulence.

Originally the planet was untainted, but a city needed to be crafted. First came the City of Opulence, meant to be a neon dreamscape, it turned to a nightmare by Taonga who controlled

the land with an iron fist and a platinum wallet. Paying for the entire police force, controlling the economy, and when the creator of the planet initially passed away, he was left alone

to do his own thing much to most people's chagrin. I foolishly sold him the land that led to the chaos.

Next came Glairden, the actual capital and the lasting hub and home to the majority of the population to this day. I have done a lot to work on it, but my daughter, Evangeline has

honestly done even more. Roads, districts in the shape of lotus petals for easy expansion; crafted in white-gold instead of my tacky plain gold, and those blue accents are to die for.

The desert and tundra we made are intense, not for the faint of heart, mostly ignored by all but the heartiest of soldiers and warriors to enter the realm, or those seeking heavy riches

within the mines and permafrost. It's tempting, but unruly horrors exist in the mist and sand, would you dare face them alone? How about Scarlet Hills, where a ghastly history is still

yet to be fully uncovered, and the past and dead zealotry has turned the city sour.

Silverthorn City, the apparent peaceful paradise, but the sun seems to never fully set, the temperature never seems to change. It seems incredibly unnatural, and seems to have appeared

along the coastline of Glairden one day. A living mirage, it is seen only once every now and then. What determines it's appearance?

Why Was the Planet Made?:

The planet was constructed by Alkurth Thorveil after Emulass fell apart and a revolution started on Asgairth, his home planet. He was the cause, he was deemed a vicious dictator and everyone

wanted his head and the head of the other generals. He had originally started it as a place to just start his own world anew, but the issue was even with it being perfect he needed

inhabitants.

The planet stayed completely on it's own and separated from the outside world and forces beyond the Vex Hivemind, Silica, that assisted in maintaining it's systems and guiding down the

planet towards it's own perfect timeline. As the revolution grew, forces were called in from other universes and the first steps into the multiverse were taken for the Asgairth civilization,

with Opulence as the primary HQ as it wasn't easily accessible by anyone be it allies or otherwise. When Alkurth died and Silica went offline, a lot went into disarray and allowed it to get

to the current state, as Alkurth's own normal royal guards weren't strong enough to defend it on their own.

The planet itself continues to thrive and grow, but is growing increasingly capitalized, with Verity (Alkurth's Reincarnation) herself only having her own interests in mind, and the Royal

Guards still a bit underwhelming in their ability to run a full planet and country. It's become a place where it's anyone's game, and the boundaries are nearly non-existent

How Does the Planet Work?

Opulence was not composed as an ordinary stationary planet, but being managed with magic, alongside dimensional and paracausal forces; the planet was created as its own space that travels

through universes and space time. Originally intended to train a multiversal army and to recruit with a perfect “home base”.

Existing in essentially a stabilized wormhole, and in essence a space that makes it almost impossible to invade, it rather “picks up” people as it goes. Sometimes teleportation destinations

get jumbled, sometimes one falls out of reality, sometimes these things just…happen. But that’s why the Hall of Portals was made to solidify and stabilize connections between worlds as well,

thus allowing a prosperous multiversal melting pot, even with the planet phasing in and out of realities.

It is its own Nexus of magic, there is only one Opulence just as there is only one of it’s creator, even amongst the infinite cosmos and omniverse.

The internal core is actually engineered, rather than natural or even purely magical in nature. It is unknown to literally all but the creator, what the inside of the planet looks like and what exists within that domain.
